Solar Energy Surviving the Trend

Solar stocks have been losing some of their sunshine lately, especially in the United States. Whilst there are a lot of factors that are impacting the industry, it is also the lack of government incentives that have curbed interest for companies to invest in solar technologies in the United States. Solar energy demand per capita in the U.S. has been close to insignificant as compared to international demand where Germany is leading the pack by an incredible margin. In 2009 alone, Germany installed close to 3,000 MW of solar dwarfing -- the U.S. installation capacity of 475 MW for the same time period.
