In the May 8 edition of the Sun Sentinel, it was reported that opposition to offshore drilling is especially strong in South Florida, currently at 60 percent. Remember when the price of a gallon of gas approached $4? That was less than two years ago. I wonder if the poll results would be the same if a poll asked for all those in favor of $6-a-gallon gas at the pumps?
