According to an estimate by the Department of the Interior’s Mineral Management Service, there may be approximately 1.5 billion barrels of oil, and 15.13 trillion cubic feet of natural gas recoverable from these Mid Atlantic waters. That is NOT EVEN ENOUGH FOR 86 DAYS OF FUEL.
