WHAT IS ENERGY DAY?
Consumer Energy Alliance (CEA) is pleased to announce Energy Day 2010, an annual day-long festival to celebrate and highlight the enormous role that energy plays in our daily lives, as well as the lives of our communities and our nation.
ENERGY DAY 2010
For the last several years, Energy Day has been held in Washington, DC and directed toward Members of Congress and their Staff. For 2010 and beyond, however, Consumer Energy Alliance is broadening Energy Day’s reach with a year-long initiative culminating with an annual festival. Working with our partner organizations, we are designing and hosting events in multiple cities across the nation, and inviting people of all ages and demographics to join us for this special day. Next year, Consumer Energy Alliance is holding Energy Day simultaneously at the Washington Nationals Stadium in Washington, D.C., and in Downtown Houston’s Historic Sam Houston Park on Saturday, October 16, 2010.
